There is a coal railway at about 50 km south of Leshan Giant Buddha in the mountains in west Qianwei. The railway is 19.84km long and 76.2cm wide, the half wideness of normal train track. That's why it's also known as the "inch track". Steam train, invented by British inventor Watt, is the product of the first industrial revolution. Jiayang Steam Train travels between the old mining town in Bagou and Shixi Town near Min River. It's the only mean of transportation for residents in the mining area to come in and go out of the mountainous region. As the last steam train in use in the world, Jiayang Steam Train is called “the Original Living Landscape of the Industrial Revolution" and” the Living Museum of 18th Century Industrial Revolution". A foreign tourists once said “the world's only one" itself is great, not to mention this "only one" exists in the characteristic landscape within 20 km. What a miracle Jiayang Steam Train is!

Luocheng Ancient Town in Qianwei is one of the top ten ancient towns in Sichuan. With unique architectural layout, the town is located on a hilltop and the streets and houses look just like boats. The reason for building this town is very interesting. It's said that during the Chong Zhen Period of Ming Dynasty, a scholar from other places came to this town. When he saw the local people suffer from lack of water and the extremely inconvenient situation, he could not help but saying “To solve the problem of shortage of water, the only way is to build the town like a boat. The boat stays in the water. Where there is a boat, there is water."  The local people also thought changing the architecture is actually a good way to solve water shortage problems, so they donated and rebuilt the town. As a result, this rare town was built. Luocheng Ancient Town is famous for its "boat street". In 1982, some Australians were affected by the unique shapes in this town and built a "Chinese Town" as same as Luocheng in Melbourne.
